Miss New York USA 2017

   Pageantry has shaped much of who I am today.  In 2004 I competed in and won my very first pageant, capturing the title of Miss Teen Greensboro.  Since then, I've been hooked and continued on to capture the title of North Carolina's Supreme Spokes Model in 2008, Miss Teen Greensboro 2008, The National American Miss North Carolina Teen 2010 and The National American Miss New York title in 2012.

   Competing in pageants has equipped me with the necessary skills for success including public speaking, self confidence, interviewing skills and a strong sense of community!

    I owe my current accomplishments in acting and modeling to pageantry.  Upon being crowned Miss Teen Greensboro, I received a full scholarship to John Casablanca's Modeling & Career Center.  At the age of 19 I relocated to New York City to pursue a career in modeling and acting.  I've had the privilege of working on such shows as Law & Order: SVU and The Good Wife to name a few.  In 2011 I was cast in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and had the opportunity to work with Emma Stone and Jamie Foxx!  I've worked as an e-commerce model for Rainbow clothing stores, and modeled during New York Fashion Week.

   Giving back while moving forward, I work extensively with The American Cancer Society, New York Cares and in 2010 began my own program Evolve Elite, which assists young ladies with developing into self assured women through the teachings of valuable life principles.

   Throughout the years one of the most beneficial factors to my success has been my supportive sponsors!  Without them, my participation in pageantry would not have been possible.

   Since the age of 14, it has been my dream to be crowned Miss USA for the Miss Universe Organization.  This past January I competed for the title of Miss New York USA 2016 which is a preliminary for Miss USA.  I made it into the semi-finals on my first attempt and without any pageant coaching.

   Next year will be my final year competing for the title and I am giving EVERYTHING that I have!  I've already begun coaching with Valerie Hayes who is one of the top pageant interview coaches in the world as well as fitness consulting with Rafael Ulloa who trained Olivia Culpo, Miss Universe 2012 and Erin Brady, Miss USA 2013 respectively.
